Co-Curricular
Aorere College takes an holistic view of education, believing that in addition to striving for academic success, students should be given opportunities to develop their potential outside the formal classroom situation.
Co-curricular activities play an important role in the school. Students are encouraged to participate in the many sporting, cultural and performing arts activities on offer.
Sports
The school offers the opportunity to participate and compete at the highest level in every major sport including: Athletics, Basketball, Cricket, Hockey, Kilikiti, Netball, Rugby, Rugby League, Softball, Soccer, Squash, Touch Rugby, Tennis and Volleyball.
Cultural
We have a proud tradition of involvement in the ASB Maori and Pacific Island Cultural Festival. In recent years the school has been well represented in every major culture including: Maori, Samoan, Tongan, Cook Island, Niuean and Indian.
