COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is appropriate for students with a major interest in the continued study of Mathematics. Students will learn complex algebraic skills required to solve problems involving equations, complex numbers, calculus, graphs and trigonometry.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
16 Mathematics achievement standard credits at Level 2, including 90284 (2.1) Manipulate algebraic expressions and solve equations, and 90286 (2.3) Find and use straightforward derivatives and integrals. – or HOD discretion.
COURSE LEADS TO
Tertiary study in fields such as Mathematics, the Physical Sciences, Commerce and Engineering, and in any field where analysis is important
