EPIC
EPIC is a venture between New Zealand libraries and the Ministry of Education, giving schools free access to a worldwide range of electronic resources. Through EPIC schools can access databases containing thousands of international and New Zealand magazines, newspapers, biographies, substantial reference works, and images. EPIC lets you access up-to-date full text articles covering a huge range of subjects.

WickED is a quality-assured online environment for young people aged 7–12 year olds (years 3–8). You'll find engaging curriculum-based learning activities in English and te reo Māori here. The activities have a literacy, numeracy or ESOL focus, and students can use the activities in a independent or in a facilitated way.
Te Ara : The Encyclopedia of New Zealand
This was New Zealand’s last official encyclopedia. It is published here in full, with all the original drawings, maps and photographs. The information has not been updated or corrected, but we have incorporated the corrigenda published with the original three volumes.
