Food & Fabric

Recipes from around the world

The Food and Fabrics department is an area of huge growth in the school and our aim is to get pupils achieving in a subject which could lead to a vocation after leaving school. The course offered in Hospitality is relevant to life skills and with the upward turn in the food market we feel that pupils at this school could gain qualifications while at school which then could lead to employment. Part of the course is to seek and use the support from local industry to put into perspective what the pupils are learning and how they can move on into the work force, doing something which they enjoy and have confidence in. The hospitality pupils cater for different events in and outside of the school and this in turn creates the enthusiasm to do more and learn more.
