The Hard Materials and Design (graphics) areas allow students to make sense of the physical world around them. Skills and use of tools and machinery are applied through a design and make process. Take-home projects in engineering furniture and construction are produced in workshops. Engineering, Construction and NCEA Achievement / Unit Standards are gained througha blend of practical knowledge and theory. Each area has it's Industrial Training Organisation that allow pathways into employment. Having an attitude and willingness to be responsible for yourself and others will let you progress safely towards a future career.
