Fabric Technology – 10FBT - Year 10
This course starts with learning the basic skills on the sewing machine. Units of work studied could include design and make a bag, making a soft toy, and producing a decorative piece such as a wall hanging. Handcrafts such as embroidery and felting are then studied.
Textiles Technology – TEX101 - Year 11
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Students choosing this course will learn about and use the design process, develop a plan of action, improve their problem solving skills and find solutions for set issues. Students will learn specialised techniques and gain materials knowledge.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Preference is given to students who have completed Year 10 Fabrics.
