Junior Girls Touch Team win Southern Zone Competition

Our Junior Girls Touch team won their Southern Zone Touch Competition after beating McAuley 6-1 in the Semi Final and then going on to beat Mangere College 6-2 in the Final.

This qualified the team for the Junior Auckland Touch Championship held at Bruce Pulman Park, Papakura on 1st December 2011. The team struggled in their pool games, losing to both Mount Albert Grammar School and Mahurangi College. The team played the remainder of their games in the Bowl Competition beating Massey High School 8-1 in the Semi Final for a place in the Final against Tuakau College. The final was a very close game which unfortunately we lost 2-1.
