Literacy & Numeracy Assessments Kia Ora e te Whānau From Monday, 20th May through to Thursday, 30th of May, Year 11 students and senior students who are yet to gain their Literacy and Numeracy qualifications, are sitting their Numeracy and Literacy assessments. There are three separate external assessments the students will complete in their Mathematics and English classes. While on-time attendance is important every day, it is even more so during this assessment period so that students can do their best in these assessments. https://www2.nzqa.govt.nz/ncea/subjects/litnum/... 'From 2024, to gain an NCEA qualification, students need to achieve a 20-credit co-requisite. Literacy and numeracy are foundational skills. Other learning is based on literacy and numeracy, and we use these skills in our daily lives. They're also an important part of NCEA.' Welcome to Term Two Whānau
