Dinner at Novatel

Novatel is a hotel located by the airport in Auckland, New Zealand. They are a well known hotel and we are really grateful to be given this opportunity to meet and express our gratitude towards them and Ibis Hotel on Tuesday 2nd July. The other 5 students and I along with Mr Ali and Mr Pierce, went to Novatel for a formal dinner, with Mr Paul Columbus (CEO of Novatel), Ardi and Sven (from Ibis Hotel).

Before coming to this dinner, Mr Ali scared us all making it seem like we have to get everything perfect. However, the dinner turned out to be something that I did not expect. It was not as awkward as I thought it would be. Maybe it was because I was sitting next to Sven who made things less awkward. Throughout the night we got into many conversations such as all the Japanese phrases that we learnt, our future aspirations and getting to know everyone more. FOOD!!. Don't get me started on food. The food was amazing. It was also my first time eating Salmon. It was interesting. Even though things on the menu were foreign to me I really enjoyed the dishes that I chose.  Overall the night AND THE FOOD was incredible !!!

Thank you Novatel for inviting us for dinner as I am sure that we will always remember and cherish this night.
Without the help and support of Novatel and Ibis Hotel, this exchange would not be happening. I am very thankful towards Novatel and Ibis Hotel as we have been given an opportunity of a life time, to go to japan experience their culture and lifestyle along with sharing ours with them. I am sure that the other applicants and I will make the most of this opportunity given to us.

Once again
  Arigatougozaimasu Novatel and Ibis Hotel.
