Tanabata Festival!

8/7/2018

In Jishukan Secondary school the only day you get off is Sunday. Because of this, I was really excited wondering were my family will take me.
Firstly they took me to their favourite lookout spot. At this spot, I could see everything. Here we played games, took heaps of photos and learnt more about the geography of Kanagawa.

After that Junna and myself went to the Tanabata festival. It was so hot but really pretty. We ate a lot of food.
I really enjoyed this festival and I felt like I knew more about the Japanese culture when we left.
Later on, the whole family and I went to a sushi restaurant where I ate a large variety of different types of sushi. Some were... interesting and some were delicious. As I ate sushi with my family I knew we definitely don't have places like this in New Zealand. Because of that, I'm thankful I was able to eat at a restaurant like this.
When we finally got home I was exhausted so I went to sleep.
Thank you host family for the amazing day!
