How do I log on onto the Aorere College Wi-Fi network?
Free in-school Wi-Fi is provided for all Aorere College students.
To access this Wi-Fi
1. Select Wi-Fi settings
2. Select "Aorere BYOD", (Windows 10 Users, use "Aorere BYOD Wi-Fi")
3. Enter the password "AorereCollege"
4. When the Fortigate screen appears, log in with your school user-name and network/Google password.
5. Enjoy!
If you forget either your network user ID or your individual password, your academic mentor can email for this information. Your network/Wi-Fi password will be re-set but your network user ID will not be changed. You will need to forget all networks (e.g. Wi-Fi etc.) and then re-connect.

Using any device, complete the following steps:

If you forget either your school email or Google Drive password, your academic mentor can email IT support for this information. Your Google Drive password will be re-set but your school email address will not be changed.
You must keep all of your Aorere Digital access information completely confidential and for your own use only. If you think someone else has gained access to any of your log-on information, you must let your academic mentor know as soon as possible.
How do I join a Google Classroom?
You must be logged into Google via your Aorere College account.

Once you have joined a class, a folder of the class's name will automatically be created in your Aorere College Google Drive. You can now receive your lesson content online, receive announcements, work collaboratively or even complete assignments and turn them in using Google Classroom.
How do I access my Kamar information?
Using any internet-capable device, complete the following steps:
For best access of Kamar, ensure your portable smart device is set where possible to "smart switch". This will enable Kamar to transition from 3G/4G to Wi-Fi and vice versa. Please note accessing Kamar uses very little data and/or bandwidth.
You can now view your academic results, timetable information, contact details and even the student notices, anywhere, anytime.

- Google Google Drive or go directly to https://www.google.co.nz/drive.
- Enter your school email address as the user name.
- Enter the default password on your Aorere Digital access card.
- Accept the conditions for Google Drive.
- Change the default password to one that is secure but that you can remember.

- Cick on the + sign in the top right hand corner of the screen.
- You can then join a classroom by entering a code given to you by your teacher.

- Go to portal.aorere.ac.nz dress and enter your Google/ Network user name and your Kamar logon password, then click save.
- Your user name and password will then be saved. Each day, you only have to click "login".
