MusicThe Aorere College Department of Music has many vocal and instrumental groups and bands which students may join. The choirs include the Sweet Sixteen, the Decibelles, the Front Row, the Junior Choir, the Glee Choir and the Barbershop Chorus.

DanceTake part in dance competitions throughout the year including GenX Unleashed and Megaschools Street Dance. Aorere College are three -time champions of SDNZ (Street Dance New Zealand).
