Meet Yuki!My buddies name is Yuki. We talk to each other on a Japanese social media app called Line. I've known her for a month now and she's amazing. At Jishukan High School she studies Physical Education, Science, Maths, English, Japanese, Social Studies, Art and Presentation. Yes, you read that right, she studies 8 subjects! "And I thought school was hard." She loves Ariana Grande and Little mix as well as Japanese bands such as One Ok Rock and STM. And She has a Dance club after school. She is also a really good dancer. She Cheers, does Jazz dance and hip hop. I can't wait for everyone to meet her. I will be in her class 4D and I'm scared, not of the students but of the stairs.... "it is going to be a wonderful journey." On the other hand, she is different from me. I mean we like a few things that different. "She's a dancer and I'm a singer". "She studies Physical Education and I only go to our P.E department if I'm looking for someone". Yes, we are very different but that's what the exchange is also about. Being open-minded and this experience teaches you qualities that help you grow as a person other than packing a suitcase. I will admit, when applying for the scholarship I was thinking I was going to be handed a plane ticket but I haven't left Auckland and I'm already learning a lot. For me, this experience is more than going on a 16-hour flight. But I am excited about the fun and "ramen". Also from today...ITS ONLY TWO MORE WEEKS!!!!!!
