Ohayo gozaimasu, minasan.
Novotel is a well-known hotel located opposite Auckland Airport. Without the support from Novotel, this exchange to Japan would never have been possible. I cannot express how appreciative I am of Novotel for assisting 6 students across the world and back.
On Wednesday 27th of June, the other students and I were able to express this appreciation at a formal dinner held at Novotel hotel. Throughout the night we all properly meet the CEO of Novotel, Paul Columbus; and talked to him about the exchange and how excited we all were.
When we arrived at the hotel, I was asked to say the thankyou speech at the end of the event. This made me quite nervous as it’s hard to express how grateful I am to Paul and Novotel for making this trip possible. However, with the support from the other students, I was able to say this speech at the end. I hope I did ok.
As a whole, it was a great night and the food was amazing.

Arigatou gozaimasu Paul Columbus! This trip is all thanks to you.
